Preparedness is

Where You Live
Is Your Choice
Happy Valentine's Day to all of our listeners.
As always, Will covered some general preparedness topics and current events related ideas and perspectives.
The show had a few overarching points related to the evacuations and turmoil surrounding the Oroville Dam in California. The overarching story, putting aside questions about crumbling infrastructure, is that the populace of the areas downstream knew that the dam was there, even if it was built after they moved there, would that not be a reason to chart a trajectory to safer, higher ground?
This goes again to the issue of location and how important that those choices are to your overall survival quotient.
Guy and Will discussed how this localized risk underscores the broader point of how the need to be proactive. the need to be thorough in choosing the location where you live and work is premier. Sometimes you cannot make those decisions. In that case then you must identify the risks and determine what to do to mitigate the threats.
