From Fouch-o-Matic Off Grid
YouTube Channel
To quote them, they live “Off grid since 2013, our family of five lives in a 314 square foot yurt in the Boise foothills. But we're building our off grid timber frame dream home. "Fouch-o-matic" is the nickname of builder, gadget lover and inventor Nick Fouch (rhymes with couch). Videos mostly made by Mrs. Fouch-o-matic, Esther Emery. Her mother, Carla Emery, wrote the homesteading and self-sufficiency classic, "The Encyclopedia of Country Living."
They are great down to earth people, staking out a happy, fulfilling existence in the rural lifestyle. Their children are gaining life experiences that will serve them well. Utilizing technology, they have shared their experiences; trials, tribulations and victories in an honest and non-candy coated way.
Nick and Esther are just awesome, honest people. The interview with them was just a great time, they are fun, thoughtful and genuine people. They posted a video the next morning as a post interview commentary see the button below or click here. Thanks again to Nick and Esther for coming on.
People who are serious about survival and living off grid would be well served to watch their metamorphosis as they grow into successful homesteaders. I recommend that you follow them on YouTube , on Pinterest and read more about them via the links below.
