In the PracticePreparedness way; this show and next week's is intended to call you to action. It is time to begin preparing for a bountiful harvest this spring and summer.
In that vein, it is time to order your seeds and supplies now so that you can have them to begin sprouting and growing your starter plants in order to be ready for planting in the next few months. As Trebs of Whimsical Farms said, "get out and buy your open source heirloom seeds while you still can at the dollar store and places like Wal-Mart while you can still get them at 4 for 1 dollar or a dollar, as they won't be that price for long. They are non GMO and cheap, cheap, cheap.
You have time now to ready your potting soil mixture, set up your germination stations and get ready. The time will fly by.
Also if you are going to do a full on garden now is time to turn your soil, make your amendments like fertilizers, organic matter, manures, turn them in and let them begin aging and breaking down. That way by the time you plant you will have rich, healthy soil to help your garden thrive.
